Biography

Eulampius Frederick serves as the Senior Public Utilities Officer within the Energy and Public Utilities Division of the Department of Infrastructure, Ports, and Transport. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental and Natural Resources Management from the University of the West Indies (St. Augustine Campus), as well as a Master of Science degree in Water and Environmental Management from the Water Engineering and Development Centre (WEDC) at Loughborough University.

In his current role, Eulampius is responsible for monitoring developments in the water sector, staying abreast of emerging trends in technology and best practices within the water utility sector. He maintains a keen interest in science, technology, and innovation (STI) for disaster risk reduction, particularly concerning events stemming from hydro-climatic hazards. Proficient in the use of Free and Open Source Software for Geographical Information Systems (FOSS GIS), such as QGIS, along with supporting applications like Input and Mergin, Eulampius leverages his technical skills to enhance data analysis and decision-making processes within his field. His dedication to advancing knowledge and practices in water management and disaster risk reduction underscores his commitment to ensuring the sustainability and resilience of communities and infrastructure in the face of environmental challenges.
