Introduction

Wetlands are some of the most important habitats in the ecosystem, with the most diverse group of organisms. Wetlands are transition points between land and water. Due to pollution and climate change, our wetlands are diminishing at a geometric rate. There is an urgent need for restoration of these wetlands to encourage plant and animal diversity and ultimately ensure sustainability.
